Regarding correction of challan online

Sir, I have filed the etds return in which by mistake the date is wrong. Now i want to correct that challan date so i have to go online correction on trace. How i will make it correct, kindly suggest me.

How to correct the challan date if challan amount is ok.

Regarding correction of challan date on TRACES when the amount is correct:
Login to TRACES using your registered credentials.
Go to the “Defaults” section (sometimes called “Default Correction” or “Challan Correction”).
Select the relevant Financial Year and Challan for which you want to make corrections.
You will see options to correct details like Challan Date, Challan Number, etc.
Update the Challan Date with the correct date.
Submit the correction request.
The correction usually goes through after verification by the CPC (Central Processing Centre).
Important points:
You cannot change the amount once paid, but correcting the date is allowed.
The correction can only be done online via the TRACES portal.
It might take a few days for the correction to reflect in the system.
If you face issues, contact CPC or your tax consultant for assistance.
