land acquire by railway is compulsory acquisition or not?

24 July 2014 it depends on the particular acquisition. normally railway acquisition should fall under it.

24 July 2014 sir,a land has been acquired by railway after giving notice and amount received from railway is after deducting TDS @ 10% whether it is compulsory acquisition or not? if yes than Under Which section exemption can be claimed.
