Dear Sir,

I want to know is it necessary to send an ackowledgement to CPC? if Yes then how much time CPC will take to send back to Client? and if Client will not receive the Same then what would be the Procedure for Collecting that Stamped acknowledgement from CPC?

Please Let me know AsAP.

02 April 2012 If an assessee has e-filed a return and NOT digitally signed it, he is required to take a print out of the ITRV, sign it and send the same to CPC.

The CPC on receipt of the ITRV processes the return within a period of 3 to 4 months and the intimation u/s 143(1) is sent to the assessee by e-mail.
