SIR,
I AM A LAYMAN FOR ACCOUNTS CONCERNS . I AM CONTRACTUAL STAFF IN Rajasthan GOVERMENT ( STATE MEDICAL DEPARTMENT,JAIPUR). I HAVE RECEIVED MY 16A FORM FROM Govt Medical Deptt. for year 2009-10 in last week.
can i fill tds return for 2009-10 myself online on INCOME TAX WEBPORTAL DIRECTLY.
Pls sort out my problem as soon as possible.

I suppose you want to file an INCOME TAX RETURN and NOT a TDS return.
Income tax return for FY 2009-10 could have been filed till 31.03.2012.
Since the time limit for filing the return has expired, the return is time barred and CANNOT be filed now.
