IF WE RAISE A INVOICE BEFORE MEARCH WITH SERVICE TAX CHARGED BUT WE RECEIVED THE PAYMENT AFTER MARCH , IS SERVICE TAX IS NEED TO BE DEPOSITED BEFORE MARCH OR NOT?
BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PAYMENT TILL DATE

No service tax has to be deposited as you have to pay service tax only when you receive the payment for your services.

i am doing follwing entry right now
Dated - 01/03/2009
Debtors A/c Dr..... 1130
to Income A/c 1000
to Service Tax payable A/c 130
But i have received the payment on 08/04/2009 which is 890, so how much i need to deposit with government .....

No liability to pay service tax arises till the payment is received. Mere accounting service income in the books does not render it payable.
But if the invoice is raised on an associated enterprise then service tax is payable even if payment is not received by you , under the new provisions
