Dear ALL,
My comapny is registered under proffessional tax. on 1998. But after this they have not paid the proffessional tax. I joined know. so i want to renew it. so i want to pay the arrears of proffessional tax till this quarter. so whom i have to contact in government and where i have to pay the prof.tax amount.
Please clarify

Professional tax is to be paid to Commercial Tax / Sales Tax department.

It is administered by Sales Tax department . Check out the address on the registration certificate. There is presently an amnesty scheme you can avail the benefit of same
