10 October 2017 Document audits are generally the review of whether the banks maintains all the requisite documents. For example in case of processing of loan, the banks are supposed to collect certain documents prior to processing of loans. The checklist is available with banks / financial institutions. Document audit is to ensure whether the bank has all the requisite documents prescribed.
