28 April 2012 what is the difference between licence deed & lease deed?
how to determine the agreemnet nature?
how stamp duty is levied on refundable deposit in the both cases?

06 May 2012 Leave and licence is an agreement between two persons and in that case one authorised the other to use his premises for which he has the licence and that too for a limited period. Once the agreement expires you have to vacate the premises.

Lease is never for short period in that case the lessor is the absolute owner and has full disposable rights and against monthly as well as yearly fixed amount the premises is handed over to you for using the same in the manner the owners can use it. After the lease period ids over it can be renewed or may be terminated on payment of compensation.
