28 June 2014 One of our client, Income tax assessment for Assesssment year 2013-2014 is done, REFUND cheque is received and yet order is not received.

But the problem now is there is a mistake in BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER and now we have to apply for correction in BANK ACCOUNT number.

Rite now problem is -
1) I have to write to CPC Bangalore via email to issue another cheque but for that I require CPC Refund Sequence no. and this no. i didnt have as the ORDER not yet received.

please help me what to do, as the refund amount is big which is in LACS.

28 June 2014 you need to request for issue for 143(1) order.

28 June 2014 I am sending request but problem is, intimation not yet received and when I login into income tax website and send request it has mentioned for RESEND EMAIL in that coloumn and it shows ORDER FOR THIS ASSESSMENT YEAR DOESNT EXIST

28 June 2014 then you will have to wait for some time...often assessment orders are logged into system with delay...

28 June 2014 IT SAYS NO INTIMATION ORDER EXIST and if it hasnt come for the first time through email, it wont send request for 143.

As in the request they have mentioned RESEND MY EMAIL AND resend will not happen, as its not been received first time also

28 June 2014 BUT TILL THAT TIME REFUND CHEQUE WILL GET EXPIRE AND THAN IT WIL BE A BIG HEADACHE.

Do anybody has any idea, when we have received this REFUND cheque, till what time we can asked for RECTIFICATION OR till what time we can send this REFUND RE-ISSUE REQUEST

28 June 2014 dont worry about expiry of refund cheque...it can still be reissued....
