27 January 2012 Dear Expert,
I have manually filed ITR for A.y. 2010-2011 WITH REFUND. NOW I HAVE RECEIVED A CHEQUE OF REFUND AMOUNT BUT PROBLEM IS THAT EVERY THING IS RIGHT ON CHEQUE LIKE MY NAME, PAN,A.Y. ETC BUT WITH WRONG BANK ACCOUNT NOS.

PLZ GUIDE ME WHAT I HAVE TO DO.

SOME ONE TOLD ME THAT YOU HAVE WRITE APPLICATION TO MUMBAI STATE BANK....

27 January 2012 The tax payer should provide the correct account number and MICR code to concerned Assessing officer of the place at which paper return had been filed .The Assessing Officer will in turn inform State Bank of India Mumbai , to send a fresh refund cheque to the taxpayer.
