Refund cheque with incorrect account number

I got the refund cheque with incorrect account number, of course i did the mistake while filing, what to do now? Whether i have to wait until expiry of 90 days for refund reissue request or have any other solution?

refund reissue request can be filed only after return is processed and refund has failed. so wait for refund failure on income tax portal.

Someone suggested to send the original cheque to SBI and photocopy of that to CPC with a covering letter..will that work out?
26 January 2019
Submit response sheet with cancelled cheque for proof of account and return the cheque received to CPC.
