my client haws not got refund of rs 8000 for ay 12-13 and when checked the status it is showing refund unpaid and no reason is mentioned what to do how to claim the refund.

I am also facing same issue for which CPC / jurisdictional ITO is not giving a proper solution. If you could solve the issue, kindly share the method here.

writing letter to assessing officer explaining him the issue and new details of bank like bank name, branch name, a/c number, micr code, bsr code.just confirm with some one is there any need to send cancelled cheque or not.
