12 November 2012 We have received a refund cheque from Income tax department ,but while filing return of income we mentioned wrong Bank Account number ,now to rectify that mistake what is the procedure

12 November 2012 send the letter to CPC / Assessing officer, from where you have received the cheque. The department may prompt you to give INDEMNITY bond as well.
