12 July 2017 If an Assessee has Claimed Refund in his Return of Income & Dept after issuing Intimation U/s 143 (1) & stating a Refund in Intimation is not able to Issue Refund because of Wrong Account No. given in the Return.
So, Can the said Refund Amt be Adjusted against Out standing Demand (if any) raised for any other Assessment year & if yes for the said adjustment is their any specific time limit.
