SSI unit paid tax without knowing the exemption available. Now how to get the amount. Even for the next two years also their turnover doesnot exceed Rs.4 crores.
Whether to apply for refund or to file a revised return.

If duty is paid for export then you can claim for refund otherwise you can't claim.

Dear sir,
Thanks for your reply. Any amount paid to the government in excess of actual duty should be returned to the assessee.
The assessee had cleared the goods for home consumption, but annual value of clearance doesnot exceed Rs.100 Lakhs.so, he is eligible to get the amount of duty wrongly paid.
