Reduction in pf contribution

An employee in our organisation is till today contributes 12% of his basic salary which is above 6500/-, he wants to reduce his contribution to 12% on 6500/-, can it be done.

It cannot be reduced , Mininmum contribution of 12% has to be contributed by employee

even if it is more than the stipulated limit of rs.6500/-

Reduce the Basic Salary (but not below Rs.4300/-)
