Can a redeemable preference shares be converted into equity shares in a private company?

Hi...
In my opinion Redeemable Preference Shares can only be redeemed either at par or premium at the option of the Company as per the terms of issue and cant be converted into Equity Shares. Only Fully / Partly Convertible Preference Shares can be converted into Equity Shares of the Company.
