Weather Amount Received On Maturity of Recurring Deposit From Post Office is Taxable or not.

Weather TDS Is applicable on this amount?

18 January 2013 Interest on RD wit Post office taxable under Income from other sources.only interest portion taxable and if the interest amount exceeding Rs.10000/- then TDS apply as per section 194A
