19 April 2011 How to file rectification return for companies in IT website. This is for rectifying figures wrongly mentioned in IT dept.calculation .

19 April 2011 Taxpayer can log in My Account-> Rectification-> Rectification upload and follow instructions to upload the rectification xml file. The rectification request will be processed at CPC and if found acceptable, then a rectification order u/s154 will be issued.

Thanks for reply.......Rectification xml file how we will generate. Return submitted by us is correct

Go through the common errors while e-filing displayed therein and compare with your original return to make sure that your return is error free or not.

19 April 2011 You have to file revise return. Again fill up the ITR form with correct figures and file revise return of income if you have filed original return within due date.
