07 June 2012 I have filed income tax return for AY09-10 with full payment with verifying 26AS however department has not taken the advance tax for deduction & created demand we made application for rectification however we again received same demand order as before in form of rectified order from department

08 June 2012 Check whether you have correctly entered challan details and bank details in the return.

If not, enter correct details and file a rectification application.

16 June 2012 Pls call and ask the CPC call centre if credit is available in CPC records. It is possible sometimes the data may not have gone to CPC from NSDL. You could file a greivance petition appropriately
