Recent major change in jurisdictional ao in mumbai

21 November 2014 Dear Friends, my relative got a Notice u/s 245 and the old tax demand had to be cancelled by the jurisdictional AO. I checked the details of the jurisdictional AO from the Income Tax Website. However, when I went there, I was informed that there has been a major change in ward numbers/ jurisdictional AO's in Mumbai. Has anyone heard about this? How do I find the new AO now? Thanks.

21 November 2014 Yes, There has been renumbering of many wards.

22 November 2014 Dear Amolji, there has again been a change in the jurisdictional AO which is not being reflected in the link provided by you. In the meantime, the old wards are not accepting any letters!
