pls elaborate the receivables (debtors) Turover ratios with examples.
actually i want to reduce my debtors in the firm which is over due by many months.
How i regulate the debtors turnover ratio in my firm.
pls suggest me asap.

Receiving TO in days ratio (Payment performance of debtors)
Closing Balance (Debtors)/Total Sales (Debtors) X Total Year Days
Example 5000/60000X366 = 30.5 Days
Closing Balance (Debtors)/Total Sales (Debtors) X Total Year Days

debtros/turnover= ration in times
or you may multiply with 100 for percentage.
it calculate with cost of sales also.
