Hello, I have a query regarding my articleship completion, My period of articleship As per Deed is from 30/08/2011 to 29/08/2014 but at the time of filing the examination form for May, 2014 attempt I have mentioned the completion date to be 29/10/2014, so now i wanted to know that when i am required to submit form 108 i.e Articleship Completion Form Please let me know any one as soon as possible its urgent... and whether form no. 108 requires franking

1. Actual Articleship Completion Date: Your articleship period, as per the deed, is from 30/08/2011 to 29/08/2014. This is the legally binding period, and your Form 108 should reflect this exact duration, unless: You took excess leave (which extends your completion date), or There is an official extension or termination filed with ICAI. ✅ 2. Incorrect Completion Date in Exam Form: Mentioning 29/10/2014 in your exam form is not a legal extension unless backed by ICAI records (due to excess leave or other reasons). Exam form entries do not alter your articleship period. ✅ 3. When to Submit Form 108: You are required to submit Form 108 within 30 days from the actual completion date — i.e., by 28/09/2014. Delay beyond 30 days: You will need to file Form 108 along with a Condonation Letter, pay late fee as per ICAI norms. Late fee is usually ₹100 per month (subject to change—verify from ICAI site). ✅ 4. Does Form 108 require franking? No, Form 108 does not require franking. It must be: Printed on plain paper Signed by both you and your Principal (CA) Sent physically to the ICAI regional office or submitted online (if portal allows)
