RCM applicability on transportation charges paid

16 March 2020 Mr A is engaged in transporting goods by road transport by his own Lorries.He is also engaging others Lorries for the same. Mr A is GST Registered dealer. Does Mr A have to pay RCM on the transportation charges paid by him to other Lorry owners. If yes, is it @5% RCM?

16 March 2020 Mr. A is a registered dealer ( receiving services from GTA ( Other lorry owners are issuing consignment note) - he needs to pay GST @ 5% under RCM.

In case, he himself is GTA ( engaged in transporting goods & issuing consignment Note ) Exempted from GST
GTA to GTA services are exempted
