RBI permission for salary from foreign company

Respected Experts,
Kindly let me know that if a person performs his job (Work from home in India) for a foreign company situated in Thailand and till COVID-19 he is allowed to work from India only and his salary if deposited in Thailand and remitted to India which he can withdraw from HDFC bank .
Will he or his employer is required to take permission under FEMA 1999 or any other Act for the above ?

He or his employer is not required to take permission under FEMA 1999 or any other Act.

Thank you sir for your quick reply, just a little doubt if his salary deposited there in Thailand in a bank , which he(Employee) transfers electronically in his HDFC bank account in India to withdraw it in India then also no such permission is required ? Kindly let me know .I shall remain ever grateful to you.
