Is service tax is applicable for the Raw Water Supply made by Landowner for the rental premises to tennants.

Kindly clarify.

Meter reading in Kilo lires 49.01

Rate Per Kilo Litre Charged Rs.110

Amount Rs:5401

Add: Service Tax 12.36% Rs.668
Total Rs.6069

17 February 2014 Is it legal to charge amount for Raw Water? Does the municipality rules allow such sale? Please confirm.

17 February 2014 If it is Reverse Osmosis (RO) then the applicable of Service tax is Ok is in it.
