Hi all,
How should we determine the rate of a particular scrip which was purchased 30years back. There are no supporting documents through which we can determine the rate. Please reply.

In case of listed companies, 1981 rates are available in the ready reckoner. In case of unlisted companies, use the average rate as rate of purchse.
