13 January 2012 Could some one pls tell me about the topics covered by the book" Professional Approach to Direct Taxes in 2 Vols by Dr. Girish Ahuja". Apart from the basic heads of income, does it cover topics like appeals, refund, modes of recovery, transfer pricing, search, assmnt etc, etc. Will it be a better book than the 1 by Vinod Singhania????

13 January 2012 This is a nice book to refer. You will enjoy reading the book.

In winter , it is difficult to use both the hands thoroughly. You can't easily read VKS Book because after every 3-4 minutes you have to bring out your hand from pocket or quilt or Shawl. You will like to fall asleep. However, in summer, you may refer it where ever the points are not clear from G Ahuja.
