Hello
I am an accountant in a firm.
We are paying the salary of an employee as arrears for the year 2007-08 due now in 2013-14.
My query is we have not the TIN no .earlier but we have applied for the same now as we have to deduct the tax on the salary of the employee.
Hence penalty to be paid for the TIN no delayed for the 2013-14 so just wanted to check the amount of penalty will be calculated since March 31st 2014 or it will be calculated since 2008 as the payment is for the specefic year.
Pl guide me on the same.As we have to submit the payment of Tax with penalty.
But as per the company policy the payment was only accruing to the employee in the 2013-14.
Looking forward to an expert reply.

i didnt got u completely dear...
payment related to 08 but as per companys policy its due in 13-14...
