Someone may please see the following and if possible, give reply:

Query 1

Any impact on account of CA2013 for the reduction in number of statutory audits to 20 from 30.

If no impact, can we file Form 23B up to 30 for FY 2013-14.

Provisions applicable to Auditor under new Companies Act, 2013 is not applicable till date, so the old provisions will be applicable.

As per section 224(1B) only you can file Form 23B of 20 public companies.

As per the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2000 private companies will not be taken into account for counting the 20 number of companies audit as specified as per sub-section (1B) of section 224.
