Good morning.

I have a query regarding service tax registration

One of my client (individual), situated in kolkata has a owned property in Gurgaon. She has given that property in rent. Now, for service tax registration she wants the jurisdiction to be in Kolkata, as there is nobody to handle the administrative issue.

What should be done? Please advise as it is very urgent

25 September 2012 can register in kolkata, but at the time of declaration in ST-1, property address at gurgaon should be mentioned.

25 September 2012 thanks sir, then i should opt for centralised registration/Single premises? or

while giving address of gugaon in ST-1, the range/Jurisdiction should be of Kolkata?

25 September 2012 range juridiction is of service provider, not of the property.
a single regn is enouogh, no need of centralized regn.
however for cross verification of gurgaon st department , if the address is mentioned or endorsed in your ST2 it would be enough for them to co relate.
