16 January 2011 Its not necessary but i prefer to do it as it gives atleast a degree when by any reason you may not able to complete CA course.

17 January 2011 IF you wan to do ACS or ICWA in your articles period then it is advisable to do one degree. Because exemption of foundation in the above courses is available only if u complete any degree or CA final.
