quarterly submission of softex when?

One of our client is asked to submit softex forms quarterly as per RBI guidelines. Our query is that when the unit needs to submit quarterly softex? if yes, can you please provide the provisions of RBI guidelines underlying the same?

As far as in Andhra Pradesh, We submit the softex returns monthly to STPI and not to RBI. there is no need to submit the returns to RBI.
