Purpose of Form 8 & 17

We have Form No.8 and Form No.17 given by a company secretary, what the purpose of those forms and is this the search report of the company, please clarify

well form 8 is the proof that company has taken loan (term loan, credit facilities) from banks/FI and mortgaged its assets to secure that loan, this is called creation/modification of charges while form 17 is the proof for satisfaction of charge when company repay the respective loan.
