Dear All,
I have confusion about purchase entry in following case:
Excisable Raw material Purchase Bill Date is 31/03/2016
Material Received Date is 05/04/2016
Here following Query arise:
1. Date of entry Taken
2. Excise Credit Taken Date
3. VAT credit Taken Date
4. Stock effect.
Can any one help me to solve this problem.

this in on date when you recd the goods on your factory gate.
then you make entry in books then all query will solve.
but in haryana in you are buying goods out of state and you received the goods after the end of quarter then you have to include the invoice in vat return as per invocie date.

But sir What is treatement in account books when invoice date is 31/03/2016 and goods received in april 2016. And i have make advance payment in March 2016. Whether the account is showing debit balance or nil with taking both transaction

you have to make entry when goods enter in your factory premises.

Sir in this case the stock in transit , both accounts are not tally due to financial changes.
in our books we shown receivable advance balance and in seller book are close or accounts ? and VAT amount is consider in F.Y.2015-16
