20 August 2009 Please Clarify anyone-
Reg-AGM Proceedings
1)Whether proxy forms sent to the company thro Fax is acceptable or not?
2)If any member sent their proxy form thro fax, and bring the same to the venue of AGM, whether their claim is sustainable?

Proxy form is required to be stamped (revenue stamp) so company may refuse to accept.

Thanks for your reply.
My doubt is -whether the proxy form to be stamped by the company or member may affix the stamp & signed over there(before submitting the same to the Regd. office).

24 August 2009 The duly stamp and signed proxy form should reach your office on or before the time specified by you in the notice. (Normally 48 hours) A fax copy is not acceptable under normal circumstances. However, in case you want to entertain a small shareholder, you may do so. However, if the shareholder cannot insist on the company accepting the fax copy of the proxy form.
