can one person be the proxy of so many persons?? & if yes under which section of companies act

Yes, One person can be proxy for more than one person.
Companies Act do not state this but there is no restriction inserted in Act so it can be done and many big Companies are following such practise.

Hello,
One person can be appointed as a proxy of more than one person/members at a time for a single meeting. There is no restriction in the company law for the same.
For the provisions of Proxy kindly check section 176 of the companies act, 1956.
