Provident Fund ..asking again

Mr. X has changed his job and joined a new job. He wants to withdraw his PF amount from the old job. Is there any time limit within which he has to withdraw such PF amount?

there is no time bar for the withdrawal of provident fund money. it can be withdrawn any time and may be transferred to the PF account in new job.

In case of Recognised Provident fund A/c, withdrawals before 5 years are not permitted.
However, transfer of the balance to the new employer will be allowed.
