12 October 2010 Dear Friend

I have a Query regarding F-13 of PF trasfer from one account to another as my cousin have left his job 1 month ago, he haven't transfer its PF account from its previous Company to the new one, i haven't filled that form earlier so just need ur guidance in filling that form and one more thing is there any particular time limit for filing that form after quitting your previous job.

Thanx in advance

12 October 2010 When you change your company, it is important that you also take your Employee Provident fund along with you by transferring the PF. Here are few details that may help you transfer your PF from your previous employer to the new employer.

First and foremost, you need the new and revised form 13 to initiate the pf transfer process .

Note: If you are withdrawing your PF amount (through a different form), be sure to mention your bank details, as EPF withdrawal Claims are now being settles fast via e payment

All references mentioning ‘present employer’ in the form mean your new employer (New company).

Some details of your previous employer
Before you submit the application to your previous employer, you need to fill few columns regarding your new employer, which if possible should be filled by the employer it self. Details regarding the New Employer such as Name and Address of the new Company, EPF code and Account number allotted to the member, FPF Account number allotted to the member (if available), if the company is exempted or un exempted, your name (Payee name) will be required from your new Employer.

After filling the application form (form 13), it has to be submitted to your previous employer which will hence be forwarded to the concerned EPF Commissioner. Once everything is verified, the EPF Commissioner will initiate the EPF transfer containing the money accrued when you are with previous employer to your new EPF account allotted by the New Employer.
