07 January 2013 i have purchased one property having registration value of 1500000/- but i have paid to the seller 22500000/.Now the Income tax department is only considering the registred value for purpose of capital gain computation. What shall i do now. can any one help me in this regard. Thanks in advance.please treat this as urgent and help me.

If you have any valid proof for paying the seller Rs.22.5 lacs, you can request the IT Officer to reconsider the facts.
