Can the Husband's share of Residential property be transferred to his wife or anyone in the family after the demise of Husband without any "will" in place? If the property share is to be transferred before demise, what is the best option to do it?

As per HIndu law after demise of any person, in absence of any will, his property will be distributed equally between his/ her spouse , and all living children(male or female)equally.
if any children is not alive , his part of property will go to children's legal heir.
If the property share is to be transferred before demise,
1. transfer it by registering it in the name of person to whom u want it to be transferred.
2. or transfer it as gift, by making appropriate gift deed.
