Proof of Exports not received

Dear Sir
We have despatched our material to Australia in December 2009 through our clearing agent at bangalore, The consignment is despatched but the proof of exports is with our clearing agent only, he had not send it to us and on 23rd of Feb 2010 there was a fire accident occured in his office and our proof of exports documents is also get burned. Now what we have to do for submitting it to the Excise department as we have to renew the LUT for exports for which they are aking Proof of exports.

IN THIS REGARDS PLEASE WRITE A LETTER IN THE NAME OF DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF CONCERNED CUSTOM OF THEREAFTER, AS A REQUEST AS ABOVE SAID MATTER.
THEN DC WILL ALLOW YOU FOR ALLOWING THE CMC / NIC SECTION FOR RETRIEVE & GENERATE THE SHIPPING BILL AND SUPERINTENDENT WILL AUTHENTICATE IT.
WHICH SHIPPING LINES YOU EXPORT THE GOODS , ASK YOUR CLEARING AGENT OR PERSONNALY WRITE A REQUEST LETTER FOR PROVIDE THEM COPY OF BILL OF LADING OR AIRWAY BILL AFTER THEIR PRESCRIBED FEE SHIPPING LINE PROVIDE YOU THE BILL OF LADING / AIRWAY BILL.
IN VIEW OF ABOVE, THIS IS RESPONSIBILITY TO UR CLEARING AGENT TO PROVIDE YOU THE ABOVE SAID DOCUMENTS.
IT IS DEPENDS U AND YOUR CLEARING AGENT THAT HOW TO SOLVED THIS PROBLEM.

If you have lost all the documents, then pls follow advice of Mr.Ramesh Varma. However, I assume U have not recd the ARE1 and if it is so then you can submit certified copy of BRC as collateral evidence, to Range Supdt. with covering letter.

BRC is a short form "BANK CERTIFICATE OF EXPORT AND REALISATION". This is a certificate jointly signed by the exporter and the bank for receipt of sale proceeds from the overseal customer against export. Pls contact yr Export Cell for physical view of BRC & further clarification.
