Can a person,who was not ,subscribers to the MoA be appointed as a promoter director?

Yes, you can do so, the promoters and directors cab be different. You can not say a promoter director, it can be says as first director of the company.

I fully agree with your comments. I needed the clarification , in connection with filing form 32.You may kindly notice that in the category of directors,there are only 3 options viz. promoter director/professional director and independant director.
