24 July 2012 How can an asseesee pay the professional tax for A.Y 2012-13 and what is the duedate of payment.

Can an assessee pay the professional tax for A.Y 2013-14,2014-15,2015-16 IN A.Y 2012-13 in Maharashtra

Assessee in registered under PTEC Category

24 July 2012 Assuming it to be in MAharashtra. There is a scheme of Govt of Maharashtra to pay the PT for 4 years and get the 5th year exempted. The interesting point to be noted is that under income tax the same is allowed on payment basis.
