What is Professional tax.
How can I deduct from salary.

if a emp left in may & his gross salary is (32880) for Six month & (10960) for Apr & May (Two Month) than which slab applicable.

If a emp not working 30 or 31 days than i can deduct P Tax.

10 December 2008 The average salary disbursed over six months are to be taken, irrespective of the employee worked for 1 day or one month.

If his average six month salary is within the bracket, it is the duty of the employer to deduct from the employee salary/settlement and be paid to the corporation of respective zone.

11 December 2008 If a emp join in the month of jun than his gross salary is Six month (32880) but actual Four month his gross salary 18000 when what i do??????
