02 August 2017 professional tax is to be collected by state its not a central tax.my head office is in bangalore and payroll processed from headoffice in bangalore.we are having branches in different regions..states...do we need to pay profesdional at statewise in that region or we can deposit in head office following the karnataka state slab rate for all employees.
