24 June 2013 A company is registered in mumbai & Employee is working in delhi office then is there any liability to deduct Profession Tax.

24 June 2013 In case you are having office premises in Delhi, you need to register under Delhi Professional tax act and deduct PT

25 June 2013 ya there is office in delhi but registered office is in mumbai. what if a big company having offices all over india and moving employees one state to another state. In some states there is no PT then what treatment to be given.

25 June 2013 Professional tax need to be register with the respective state. even big companies having offices in different state, they have to comply

26 June 2013 but if one employee who is in the state where PT is applicable But he moved to another state where no PT applicable the What treatment to do,,,,

26 June 2013 Where the employee enrolled, need to enroll with the particular state, incase transferred to other state you can considered that employee also other state
