If Salary EXCEED Rs.5000/- per month...Professional Tax required to pay? in Maharashtra.. and what are related conditions...

Rs. 175 if salary exceeds Rs. 5000 but does not exceed Rs. 10000. Salary permonth exceeds 10000/- Rs. 200/- p.m exceed February where professional tax Rs. 300/-

it means salary UPTO Rs.5000 (including Rs.5000) is not liable for Profession Tax.?
