26 November 2007 DEAR SIR,

I AM WORKING IN ACCOUNTS FIELD FROM PAST ABOUT 15 YEARS AND HAVING A DEGREE ONLY B.COM. NEITHER I AM VERY STUDIOUS NOR SO SHARP BUT WANTS TO GET A PROFESSIONAL DEGREE. I AM NOT IN A POSITION TO LEAVE THE JOB FOR STUDIES.

FOR WHICH COURSE I SHOULD APPROACH KINDLY ADVICE.

26 November 2007 Hi Rishab,

You have gathered a good experience but the same should have been blended with a professional degree. Its late than never. Instead of enrolling yourself for CA/CS?ICWA i would recommend you to go for a distant learning courses in management in the fielf of finance. This will help you two fold. One you would get a management degree. Two, it will fetch you good job taking into consideration the years of experience you have gathered.

An Institute is in Chennnai named National Institute of Business Management conducting two years MBA and One year Executive MBA that is affordable for me in financial terms also.But Institute is not affiliated with any Govt. Body.
Shoud I go for this.

26 November 2007 You need not be studious for becoming a professional. You have to be intelligent and that you are. You can perform as you are thinking. Please do well in career by keeping confidence. Do not keep complex. You are what you are.

27 November 2007 INSTEAD OF DOING UNRECOGNISED DEGREES OR DIPLOMAS LIKE THE ONE NIBM CITED BY YOU , WITH ALL RESPECTS TO THE NIBM, I SAY THAT EVEN BY SPENDING TWO MORE YEARS, IF YOU DO ICWAI , IT IS BETTER.
THE ADVANTAGE IS 50 % OF SUBJECTS ARE EXEPT FOR ICWAI IF THEY DO C.S.
SO AFTER ICWAI IF YOU ARE STILL ACADEMIC HUNGRY, YOU MAY BECOME C.S ALSO WHEREBY YOU CAN OCCUPY SENIOR POSITIONS GRADUALLY LIKE CHIEF ACCOUNTS OFFICER AND COMPANY SECRETARY.
SKY IS THE LIMIT AS TO WHERE YOU WILL REACH AFTER 5 OR 10 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL COURSE LIKE ICWAI AND C.S.
AS TO HARD WORK AND INTELLIGENCE, THERE IS A SAYING IN HINDI--GADHA BHI DOUDATE, DOUTATE,GHODA BAN JAYEGA-
MEANING EVEN A DONKEY IF IT RUNS AND RUNS WILL ONE DAY BECOME A HORSE.
