As per Clause 3 of Part I of Schedule 2 of CA Act, 1949 Member in Practice can certify Projected P/L and Balance Sheet provided certain condition to be followed.
My question is whether Member not in practice can certify the Projected Balance sheet and P/L ???because nowhere in other clause it is given that a member not in practice can not sign the balance sheet.
Another question is, A member who have applied for Certificate of Practice but same is not allowed yet, can certify the projected balance sheet and P/L??

Mr Patel,
I dont think you can certify documents without have a COP. with regards to pending COP application, given that it is issued wef the date of application, documents signed during this period should hold good
